the season 6 plot of outlander
Season 6 is based on Diana Gabaldon’s novel A Breath of Snow and Ashes, which is the sixth book in the series. The new season is described by Starz as follows:
Outlander’s sixth season continues Claire and Jamie’s battle to safeguard people they care about amid colonial America’s perils and tribulations. North Carolina’s backcountry is not an easy place to start a new life in the New World, especially at a time of major political upheaval. As Claire knows all too well, the Frasers are working to keep the peace and prosper in a society that is inadvertently heading toward revolution. Claire and Jamie have erected a house atop Fraser’s Ridge to commemorate the founding of the United States of America.
To put it another way, this season focuses on what occurs when there is a lack of harmo
ny and unity among the people who live in the house you’ve built: when you become an outsider or a “outlander,” so to speak, ostracised and rejected in your own home.
