The supernatural drama television series Manifest, developed by Jeff Rake, premiered on NBC on September 24, 2018. It revolves around the passengers and crew of a commercial airliner that reappeared after five and a half years after being presumed dead. Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long, and Holly Taylor star in the film.
In October 2018, NBC ordered more episodes for the first season, and the show was then renewed for a second season in 2020, and the third season in 2021. After three seasons, NBC decided to terminate the sitcom in June 2021. The show premiered on Netflix in June 2021 and quickly rose to the top of the ratings, prompting Netflix to renew Manifest for a fourth and final season of twenty episodes.
Release Date for Manifest Season 4
Netflix said in August 2021 that the fourth and final season of Manifest would be accessible to watch on their platform, thanks to the show’s significant success on Netflix and the efforts of fans to save the show via online petitions. Jeff Rake has confirmed that the film will be released in November 2022. A release date has yet to be determined. The fourth season will have 20 episodes available on Netflix, although not all at the same time. As a result, they’ll be released in two or more installments.
All of these stories, as well as many others, will be expanded upon in the final season. Even if the show didn’t reach the six seasons Rake had hoped for, Rake is still pleased with its direction. “The consequence will remain the same,” he adds to EW. I have great faith in myself that 20 episodes will give me enough time to tell the entire story as I’ve always intended.”
Season 4 Plot Synopsis: What to Expect
Manifest has been renewed for a fourth and final season, according to NetflixNBC.
Three big cliffhangers were left hanging at the end of Manifest’s third season, all of which will have a huge impact on the storyline in the final season.
Jared first learned about Saanvi’s (Parveen Kaur) role in the death of The Major (Elizabeth Marvel), Sarah’s (Lauren Norvelle) mother, and her guilt in The Major’s death (J.R. Ramirez). After Eden was dead, we also watched Angelina (Holly Taylor) flee with Grace (Athena Karkanis) and vanish into thin air.
Eagan (Ali Lopez-Sohail) and Randall (Christopher Piccione) were both detained and brought away from the scene. Meanwhile, Cal (Jack Messina) disappeared after hitting with the tail of Flight 828.
Captain Daly’s appearance and disappearance were similarly completely random (Frank Deal). “Whether it’s purgatory or the netherworld, these are terminology and notions that Ben and the others will struggle to understand,” show creator Jeff Rake said when asked about Captain Daly. “Let us assume, for the sake of simplicity, Captain Daly has been where the passengers as a group have been for the last five and a half years,” he says.
From the conclusion of Episode 312 when he vanishes to the end of the season finale when he reappears exactly where he left off, Captain Daly has been exactly where Cal has been throughout the whole season. Cal will be able to tell you more about that place when we return in season four.”

Season 4 of Manifest: Episode Count
It’s tough to say because the show has never had a consistent number of episodes across all seasons. The first season featured 16 episodes, the second and third seasons both had 13, and the fourth season will have 20 episodes, most likely split into two halves.
Previous Seasons in Review
Manifest is a brilliant, fascinating, and one-of-a-kind show because to its narrative. In past seasons, Flight Montego Air Flight 828 flew from Jamaica to New York City and encountered significant turbulence for an incredible 5 years.
When the jet lands in Newburgh, New York, NSA deputy director Robert Vance informs the 191 passengers and crew members that they had been in the air for nearly five and a half years.
