For some reason, it never ceases to fascinate and even endear me when an obscure film that was overlooked upon its initial release suddenly becomes one of Netflix’s top ten American films. We’ve seen this before, with The Call and Disappearance at Clifton Hill both making it to the top of the box office recently, and now Backtrace, a relatively unknown 2018 thriller starring Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone, is also making it to the top this week. Take a look at Netflix(opens on a new laptop )’s 10 movies and TV shows for Monday, June 27, 2022.

Nine of The Most Popular Films to Stream on Netflix in The United States as Of June 27, 2022

We still have The Man from Toronto, Sing 2, and The Mist occupying the top three spots on Netflix’s Top 10 Movies list today, which is a testament to how popular these films have become. There are a few other Netflix originals that have dropped a spot: Hustle with Adam, Spiderhead with Chris Hemsworth, Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness, and Halftime with J. Lo, but they remain in the bottom three from yesterday… for now.

Woody Harrelson, who starred in The Man from Toronto, has a good chance of making the Top 10 Movies list twice this week after the release of Natural Born Killers, a controversial crime drama.
