Comic-Con International in San Diego saw the debut of X-Men ’97, Disney+’s reboot of the X-Men: The Animated Series, which sliced through the Marvel Studios animation panel like an optical blast.
A new season of the beloved 1990s animated series, which was officially announced in November 2021 after a flurry of rumors, will premiere on Disney+ at some point in 2023. In a series of images, Marvel showed off a variety of characters in their new, updated designs and costumes. In terms of plot details, the studio did not reveal much, but it did confirm Magneto’s role as the team’s leader, sporting a design reminiscent of John Romita Jr.’s Magneto design.

The Cast Members
In addition to the original Wolverine and Rogue voice actors, George Buza, Lenore Zann, Adrian Hough, Catherine Disher, Chris Potter, and Alison Sealy-Smith will all return to reprise their roles. In addition to Alyson Court, who originally voiced Jubilee, she will reprise her role as a different character, which will allow an Asian voice actor to be cast as the character.
