First Panchayat Summary
In the little hamlet of Phulera, Abhishek Tripathi is compelled to work with a varied mix of people after accepting a job there since he has no other option. He was raised in a metropolis, and Abhishek Tripathi is no exception. He is a newly minted engineer who has no prior experience in the panchayat (village council) office in Phullera. He was brought up in the city, and he has no idea what it’s like to live in rural India.
Apart from that, the idea of sharing his panchayat office and dwelling is revolting to him. Due to his constant boredom, anguish, and annoyance at the mere mention of a problem or suffering, he lashed out at the first hint of it. They are all happy to see Abhishek at Phulera; he also meets the deputy sarpanch’s secretary and the former sarpanch. Panchayat office doors are locked with no keys to be found when I arrive. Because of the conditions, he refuses to enter the office when it is opened.
