Industry, the sex and drugs-fueled financial drama is returning for a second season thanks to screenwriters Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, both of whom are first-timer screenwriters.
Myha’la Herrold (The Tattooed Heart) portrays Harper, an American graduate who moves to London to begin a career in international banking in the hedonistic drama.
Season two will examine the fallout from Harper selling out multiple colleagues in the first season, according to co-creator Down, who spoke to Entertainment Weekly recently.
“During the course of the season, she makes a significant decision that may jeopardise the relationships she’s built. Our focus in Season 2 will be on her struggle to come to terms with the implications of this decision for herself, for the people closest to her, including Yasmin and Eric “he stated.
Season two would investigate “as a bigger subject, why the four recruits got into this sector,” according to him.

The majority of the cast, on the other hand, is expected to return for season two.
According to the show’s producer, Down, characters whose futures were in doubt could return. “There’s always the possibility that these characters may return in some manner, within Pierpoint or outside it,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
It is this “conversation about the Black existence being more than one or two things” that Herrold finds “gratifying” in her persona.
“There are various faces to us, the people of color. Stories of all kinds should be told. We are entitled to a better life, and we’ve worked hard for it.

Season one’s first episode, which kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end, would have to be our favorite.
