High School Musical: The Musical is back for another season. Fans of the Wildcats can’t get enough of them as they bring another major show to the stage in The Musical: The Series. In July 2021, Season 2 came to a close.

When will Season 3 of HSMTMTS premiere?
Although there is no official release date for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 3, Disney+ has stated that it will be released in 2022. “We already have chills #HSMTMTS season 3 will come in 2022,” they tweeted on November 12.

Olivia Rodrigo said filming will begin in January 2022 in a TIME interview. Season 2 premiered in May, and season 3 is expected to follow suit. Like the prior two seasons, episodes will likely air weekly on Disney+. The expected release date of season 3 on 15 November 2022.
Is there a third season of HSMTMTS?
Yes. On September 13, Disney+ announced that High School Musical: The Musical: The Series had been renewed for a third season on Twitter. “Wildcats Season 3,” Disney+ tweeted.

Who will appear in season 3 of HSMTMTS?
Season 3 will bring back all of our favourite characters from season 2 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Joshua Bassett (Ricky), Matt Cornett (E.J.), Sofia Wylie (Gina), Larry Sapperstein (Big Red), Julia Lester (Ashlyn), Dara Renée (Kourtney), Frankie Rodriguez (Carlos), and Joe Seradini (Seb) are all expected to return.
Fans of Olivia Rodrigo should not fear that her new job as a singer would prevent Nini from appearing in season 3. Olivia told The Guardian in May 2021 that she’s “committed to HSM for two more years” and that she’ll be in season 3 of the show. She might also be in Season 4 based on her Guardian comments.
East High’s favourite teachers, Mark St Cyr (Mr Benjamin Mazzara) and Kate Reinders (Miss Jenn), will return for more HSMTMTS fun. Meanwhile, Olivia Rose Keegan (Lily), Roman Banks (Howie), and Derek Hough (Zack), who all appeared in season two, will also return.
Furthermore, given Nini’s continued presence, Jordan Fisher (Jamie) will most likely play a larger part in season 3.
The season will feature new characters and take place at Camp Shallow Lake, a Camp Rock-style summer camp. Jet, Camp Shallow Lake’s enigmatic newcomer, will be played by Adrian Lyles. Meg Donnelly will portray Val, a confident camper-turned-counsellor-in-training, while Saylor Bell will play Maddox, a quick-witted techie.
Meanwhile, Hannah Montana’s Jason Earles will play Dewey Wood, Camp Shallow Lake’s Camp Director, and Corbin Bleu, who played Chad in the original films, will reprise his role.
What will HSMTMTS season 3’s musical be?
Frozen will be the season 3 musical of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The season will be set in Camp Shallow Lake, as previously stated. East High students will be given the challenge of putting on a Frozen performance.
However, in keeping with the camp concept, songs from Camp Rock and the High School Musical films in general will be performed. In addition, as in seasons 1 and 2, the season will feature original songs.

Tim Federle, the creator of HSMTMTS, recently told Hollywood Life: “Because there are so many options, deciding on a musical for the event is difficult. You can go in a completely other direction, such as High School Musical 3 or creating a brand new musical.”
