As the popular anime series Attack on Titan draws to a close, there is just one more batch of episodes left until the series ends its run.
However, it was first thought Season 4 Part 2 – which concluded broadcasting in Japan earlier this month – would be the series’ final episode.
Instead, the official Attack on Titan Twitter account released an announcement immediately after the final episode of Part 2 aired, promising one final stretch and teasing a teaser trailer for good measure.
Here’s all we know about Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 so far, including the release date and some narrative musings.
When will Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 3 be released?
The expected date of Attack on Titan season 4 part 3 is 10 April 2023.
The first part of the last season ran from December 2020 until March 2021, and the second part followed from January 2022 through April – so we would expect the final run to follow a similar pattern and air at the beginning of next year.
We’ll keep an eye out for any new information to corroborate this and update this page as appropriate when it becomes available.
Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that the English release of each episode will likely take place around a month following the Japanese premiere.
Meanwhile, it’s not certain how many episodes the ultimate run will include. When it comes to this season, there are only nine manga chapters remaining to adapt, therefore it’s probable that there won’t be any more episodes than the first two.

Attack on Titan: Final Season, Part 3 Plot Synopsis
So expect a tremendous final fight between Paradis and Marley when Eren and his supporters face off against Mikasa and her Survey Corps comrades in this final run.
Part 2 left us with a glimpse of Floch, who appeared to have survived Gabi’s assassination attempt on him, and Zeke, who is currently trapped in the Coordinate.
In any event, it’s clear that the program will not end with a whimper, so you can expect an epic climax to the season.
