Six new couples traverse the K-1 Visa procedure in the hopes of ending their 90 days in marriage on 90 Day Fiancé season 9. The fact that these six TLC novices will be joined by 90 Day veterans Ariela and Biniyam will pique the excitement of 90 Day fans. Those who saw the “Tell All” for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way may recall that Biniyam was able to obtain his K-1 Visa, therefore the couple’s relationship will presumably continue from there.
While viewers may always expect cultural differences and difficult family dynamics to add to the complication, contemporary travel guidelines also pose challenges. It never gets old for me!
Ari and Bini, who has starred on multiple seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way (a spin-off where American journeys to a foreign nation in the name of love), are back in the exclusive teaser above. They’ve left Ethiopia to try one final time in… New Jersey.
Biniyam and Ariela
Biniyam, 31, is from Ethiopia, and Ariela, 30, is from Princeton, New Jersey. Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way featured the couple. They met on a street in Ethiopia, and after three months together, Ariela was pregnant with their son, Aviel. When Aviel underwent surgery, Ariela returned to America, and Ariela and Biniyam’s relationship suffered as a result of the distance. Viewers chastised Biniyam for frequently going out and partying in Ethiopia while Ariela looked after their son.
They confirm that they still aim to marry this season. However, it appears that Biniyam’s family is not pleased with his choice of fiancée, and Ariela had a drink thrown in her face during one key encounter.

They got engaged after only a few weeks, and Emily found out she was pregnant. Emily returned to the United States, and Kobe was supposed to join her soon after, but the epidemic derailed their plans.
Emily now lives with their son, and the season follows their relationship as they attempt to adjust to life in the United States.

Shaeeda and Bilal
Bilal is 42 years old and Shaeeda is 37 years old. They are both from Kansas City, Missouri. After only a week, the couple met online and proposed to each other. Unsurprisingly, their lifestyles clashed only later: Bilal is a divorced father of two, while Shaeeda lives with her parents and is ready to establish her own family. But Bilal is concerned about having any more children, and he also wants Shaeeda to sign a prenuptial agreement before the wedding.
“The boy I fell in love with is the guy I met in Trinidad,” Shaeeda cries in the series, prompting her mother to tell her that she must immediately board a plane and return home.

Miona and Jibri
Jibri joked in a preview for the season that Miona started flirting with him right away when they met online, but he feigned to be interested in her buddy at first. (“That’s ridiculous,” she remarked, rolling her eyes.) Jibri, a 28-year-old from Rapid City, South Dakota, met Miona, a 23-year-old from Serbia, while he and his band were performing in her homeland. After seeing him play, Miona was instantly smitten, and Jibri proposed to her shortly after.
She had planned for them to go to Los Angeles together, but when the season begins, Jibri discloses that he has returned to his family’s home in South Dakota. “It’s clear that living with his parents will have to alter,” Miona explains.
Thais And Patrick
Austin-based While visiting Brazil to reunite with family, Patrick, 31, met Thais, 25. He needed to practise his Portuguese, so he used a dating app to look for a teacher. Thais swiped right, and the two went on a number of dates during their trips to Brazil. He eventually proposed to her and invited her to join him in Texas.
Patrick, on the other hand, is still recovering from a past divorce, and his living condition — with a sibling who starts drinking at breakfast — is far from the opulent American lifestyle that Thais had imagined.
