L.A. Dodgers left fielder Joseph Nicholas Gallo was born in the United States on November 19, 1993. (MLB). He’s a former player for the New York Yankees and Texas Rangers.
Career

Claire Danko posted a throwback PDA photo of herself and the Yankees outfielder after the team’s wild-card game loss to the Red Sox.
Over a photo of herself sitting on Gallo’s lap, she wrote, “I got my man back” on Instagram. The outfielder was sitting on a bed, holding her in his arms.
Let’s go during the off-season, Claire Danko wrote, adding a white heart emoji. In Boston, at Fenway Park, Gallo’s GF sipped cocktails with other New York WAGs during the playoff game.
In addition to Danko, other members of the group included Ashlyn Holmes, the wife of pitcher Clay Holmes, Alyse Higashioka, the partner of catcher Kyle Higashioka, Cristina Barnea, the longtime partner of pitcher Aroldis Chapman, and Alondra G. In July, Danko and Gallo went to Globe Life Field to watch the Rangers play and celebrate during Gala Night. She accompanied Gallo to the 2021 Major League Baseball All-Star Game that same month in Denver.
The Yankees have one more year on their contract with Gallo, who they acquired at the end of July.

The Rangers sent Joely Rodrguez and Joey Gallo to the New York Yankees on July 29, 2021, in exchange for Josh Smith, Glenn Otto, Trevor Hauver, and Ezequiel Durán. Gallo hit a three-run homer off Seattle Mariners pitcher Paul Sewald on August 5, 2021, for his first Yankee home run.
He had a.199/.351/.458 batting line with 38 homers and 77 RBIs that year (2021). He led the majors with 213 strikeouts, the American League with 111 walks, and had the lowest strikeout percentage of his career (34.6). He was tied for first in the majors with seven bunt hits.
He took home his second Gold Glove in as many years for his outstanding defensive play.
The New York Post called Gallo’s time with the Yankees a “horror,” and he was called “one of the worst trade busts in Yankees history” after he signed a $10.275M contract with the team on March 22, 2022, avoiding arbitration.

He Remarked on His Tenure with The Yankees
“I don’t go out in the streets… To be honest, I’d rather not be seen around here too often… I faced several challenges and had to examine my own beliefs and values in depth.
Consequently, my assurance level dropped. I struck rock bottom as far as the major leagues are concerned,” he said, adding that when other players tried to cheer him up in response to the boos from the crowd, “their pity makes me feel like a piece of s**t, honestly.” It makes me feel like an inconvenience.
