Former City Councilman Kills and Buries an Employee

Daniel Triplett, a former city councilman, was arrested after the Guthrie police confirmed his involvement in the disappearance of his employee, Brent Mack, who was reported missing by his daughter on September 28, 2021.

Mack’s daughter claimed the former city councilman told her that he fired her father and dropped him off in the 100 block of West Cleveland after giving him $1,000 severance a week after she reported her father’s disappearance. However, the employee hasn’t returned home since then.

During the investigation, authorities saw the former city councilman’s vehicle in a surveillance video from the laundromat when he claimed he dropped off Mack, but he didn’t, True Crime Daily reported.
