Kendall Nicole Jenner is a model, media personality, and socialite from the United States. She was born on November 3, 1995. She is the daughter of Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner, and she rose to popularity as a star of the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. At the age of 14, Jenner began modeling.
She had a breakthrough season in 2014 and 2015, walking the runways for high-fashion designers during New York, Milan, and Paris fashion weeks, after working in commercial print ad campaigns and photoshoots. Jenner is a brand ambassador for Estée Lauder and has appeared in advertisements, editorials, and cover shoots for LOVE and several international Vogue editions.
Jenner debuted at No. 16 on Forbes magazine’s 2015 list of top-paid models, earning an estimated US$4 million per year.
Forbes dubbed Jenner the world’s highest-paid model in 2017, displacing Gisele Bündchen, who had held the title since 2002.

We’re taking a look back at how Kendall Jenner’s career was defined by her first public backlash this week. Kendall Jenner informed Kim Kardashian in 2017 that she was “feeling like shit.” “I’m not sure how I’ll get back on my feet.”

Kendall was responding to the outrage
She resolves a protest by offering a cop a can of Pepsi. Pepsi pulled the ad the next day after it was labeled “tone-deaf” and “offensive.”
Kim had become the Kardashians’ PR expert in the two years leading up to the Pepsi debacle, steering her family through a slew of scandals.
She’d handled the tension between Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna, and Kylie Jenner, and helped Kanye West manage his feud with Taylor Swift. Kim has always encouraged her family to deal with any disagreements swiftly and honestly. Kendall was now being told to follow suit.
Kim stated, “You can’t ignore it.” “It’s impossible. As long as you’re honest and upfront, everything will be fine.”
Kendall, on the other hand, elected to disregard Kim’s recommendations. For six months, she remained mute, allowing the backlash to grow out of control.
Kendall’s cancellation was widely discussed on social media. Kim and other members of her family were compelled to speak on her behalf, and her tearful apologies on KUWTK were mocked extensively. In the aftermath of every subsequent real-life protest, she became the go-to punchline.
During the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020, the long-term consequences of failing to handle the dispute swiftly became obvious.

Kendall eventually posted a statement condemning racism
It was too late – the comments section was swiftly flooded with criticism for her unwillingness to speak out sooner. The news cycle would have moved on from the advertisement if Kendall had taken Kim’s suggestion and immediately apologized.
But, by rejecting the Kardashians’ crisis management plan and remaining silent, the scandal became profoundly embedded in the public awareness, thanks to newspapers and social media. Kendall, unlike her sisters, will never be able to recover from her first public criticism.
