The American Whitney Way Thore (14 April 1984) is a well-known face to TLC viewers thanks to her role as a cast member on the network’s hit reality show My Big Fat Fabulous Life.
In Greensboro, North Carolina, to parents Glenn and Barbara Thore, Whitney Way Thore entered the world on April 14, 1984.
In 2000, Thore attended the Governor’s School at North Carolina’s Meredith College, where he participated in the Theatre Summer Enrichment Program. Thore attended Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, to study theatre after graduating from Page High School in 2002. Thore moved to South Korea to teach English after finishing her undergraduate degree.

In the clip, Thore and Alehat talk about their experiences working together as ex-lovers. One time Thore says “However, there’s one thing I need to make perfectly clear: there’s nothing strange about our relationship.

In other scenes from the trailer for “My Big Fat Fabulous Life,” Thore is dealing with her mother Babs’s recovery from a stroke. It was confirmed earlier this year that Babs had a stroke, but it now appears that COVID-19 may have exacerbated her condition.
According to the official synopsis for the premiere episode of Season 10, “After Babs suffers a stroke, the family discovers that Babs, Glenn, and Hunter have COVID-19; without her family to rely on, Whitney‘s friends rally together as she attempts to stay strong through this trying time,” Whitney’s friends rally around her as she tries to stay strong through this trying time without her family to lean on.
Next week: “After suffering a stroke, COVID-19, and an infection, the Thores are amazed to see Babs make a miraculous recovery; everyone anxiously hopes it will be enough to get her approved for rehabilitation; Whitney is not prepared to give up without a fight.”
What Caused Whitney Thore and Lennie to Split Up?
As of Episode 9 of Season 3, Whitney and Lennie had broken up, despite having been together since Season 2. On MBFFL, Whitney revealed she had been feeling stuck in her relationship and that she didn’t think things were getting better.

Thore became the on-air producer for the Jared & Katie in the Morning radio show on Greensboro, North Carolina’s 107.5 KZL after she returned from a year teaching English in South Korea.
A dance video titled “A Fat Girl Dancing” was uploaded to 107.5 KZL’s YouTube on February 27, 2014. The video quickly gained traction, helping Thore spread her message of self-love and acceptance to a wider audience.
