Who Is Luke Bell? Information Regarding the Late Country Singer’s Career and Net Worth

A fentanyl overdose resulted in the death of Luke Bell. The country musician, 32 at the time of his death on August 26 in Tucson, Arizona, had been gone for six days prior to his disappearance.

PEOPLE claims to have obtained an autopsy report from the Pima County Medical Examiner’s office showing that Bell was discovered by a bystander in a shady section of a parking structure. The area contained drug-related paraphernalia.

A toxicology result requested by the medical examiner revealed the musician had a fatal level of fentanyl in his blood and had also been drinking.

Bell also had arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, but that was not what ultimately led to his death, according to the autopsy.

As the medical examiner notes in the report, “fentanyl intoxication is attributed to the cause of death in light of the known circumstances surrounding this event, the accessible medical history, and the inspection of the remains.”

According to The Autopsy Report,

the cause of death was an accident. On Tuesday, the results from the medical examiner were originally reported by ABC 9 KGUN9 in Tucson.

On August 29th, Matt Kinman, a close friend of Bell’s, verified the news of his death to Saving Country Music.

The documentary Saving Country Music claims that Bell has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and that his “mental health took a turn for the worse” in recent months.

The manager of Bell, Brian Buchanan, told TMZ that Bell “battled this as hard as he could” but that ultimately the sickness won. “When he was on the road to recovery, he was the nicest, most giving person you could ever hope to meet. Now that he has, he may rest easy.”

A letter from Bell’s family was released to PEOPLE earlier this month, expressing their “lost beloved son, brother, and friend and we are heartbroken” over the country singer’s untimely passing.
