Visit Manitowoc, the city’s bureau of tourism, recently introduced a new brand identity to the general public.
Visit Manitowoc took on the city’s logo while it was still in its infancy early this year. The division can now claim ownership of its own.
There are numerous fonts, logos, and color schemes all working together to convey the brand’s message. A variety of blues were used to allude to the city’s watery setting.
The city’s shipbuilding heritage is represented with an abstract M whose form was influenced by the waves of Lake Michigan, a farm scene, and boat sails at the marina. According to Visit Manitowoc, the city is best described as “friendly sophistication,” and they think the new branding captures this spirit.

Director of tourism for Visit Manitowoc, “we strongly feel that the future of tourism has never been brighter in Manitowoc.” We expect significant economic benefits for our entire town from increased visitors as a result of our revitalized brand.
Visit Manitowoc’s new logo can be seen in the redesigned tourist center and the planned 2023 guest guide. During the first part of 2023, a brand-new website will go live, too.

From January 2014 to December 2017, Hansen was the face of Endurance Warranty Services, LLC, and the host of the new NBC Sports, Spike TV, and CBS Sports series PowerNation.
