In the United States of America, you can find the actress and model Rachel Emily Nichols. While a student at Columbia University in New York City in the late 1990s, Nichols began her modeling career.
By the early 2000s, she had made the switch to acting, landing roles in films including Autumn in New York (2000) and Sex and the City (season four) (2002).
Her breakthrough performance came in the 2003 comedy Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, and she went on to star in the last season of the action TV series Alias (2005-2006) and the horror picture The Amityville Horror, both of which brought her further widespread fame (2005).
Early Life
Rachel Nichols was born in 1980 in Augusta, Maine, and she attended Columbia University in New York City with the intention of working on Wall Street.
The money Nicholas made as a model was quickly being put toward her education. She graduated with a degree in mathematics and economics from Columbia University in 2003 while also working for Guess?, L’Oreal, and Abercrombie & Fitch.

Controversy
Last year, Rachel Nichols was in the middle of a major dispute at ESPN. The longtime NBA reporter was fired after audio recordings of her were made public. While disparaging Maria Taylor, Nichols called her a “diversity hire” on the tapes.
As a result of the leak, Nichols was demoted from her position on NBA Countdown, and the show she hosted, The Jump, was scrapped in favor of NBA Today, which is now helmed by Malika Andrews. Of course, this was a terrible time for Nichols’ career, as she was suddenly without a place in the cutthroat world of NBA media.
However, recent reports indicate that Nichols will return to television screens in the not-too-distant future. She’ll be joining the Showtime Sports team, where she’ll be responsible for producing monthly basketball shows. Her precise function over there has yet to be defined, but given her extensive background working with ESPN, it is safe to assume that it will be significant.
Because some people are still angry at Nichols for her statements on Andrews, her hiring may divide opinions. Showtime Sports is growing, and they think this hire will help them compete better in the NBA.
Career
In the 2016 science fiction thriller Pandemic, Nichols played the lead role of a doctor who organizes a search party for people who have managed to avoid infection after a global pandemic.
Nichols “attempts to portray an attitude halfway between shell-shocked survivor and empathetic physician, but doesn’t manage to fulfill the role’s potential,” wrote The Hollywood Reporter in their review of the picture, which was distributed in limited cinemas and on VOD.
The Spanish-American remake of the 2007 French horror thriller Inside starred Nichols as a pregnant mother who is attacked in her house by an unknown lady who plans to steal her baby. On July 28, 2017, the picture opened in theatres in Spain, where it earned $557,083.
On January 12, 2018, it opened in the United States. The Librarians, a fantasy drama on TNT, cast Nichols in a recurring role as a former guardian who is sent back in time 500 years to help humanity eventually progress. A Saturn Award nomination for Best Guest Starring Role on Television was given to her for her work in all four episodes.
Personal Life
On July 26, 2008, in Aspen, Colorado, Nichols wed Scott Stuber, a film producer. After having her hair dyed red for her roles in Star Trek and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Nichols decided to let it grow out to its original blond hue in time for the event. Just after their honeymoon, they began construction on a house in Cabo San Lucas.
Nichols and Stuber divorced after seven months of marriage in February 2009 because of their inability to resolve their issues.
Nichols announced on December 30, 2013, that she was engaged to real estate entrepreneur Michael Kershaw. They tied the knot in the fall of 2014.
