In the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s lightweight category, Patrick Mark Pimblett (born January 3, 1995) is a British mixed martial artist (UFC). He has been a professional since 2012 and was a Featherweight Champion with Cage Warriors.

He then posted an Instagram video showing his previous metamorphosis with the caption: ‘It’s been an amazing journey!’ “weight loss at my previous camp. There will be a further eight weeks of one photo per week, and it is planned that the procedure will be repeated.”

According to the Mirror, he will face Leavitt for a third time this summer in London in an effort to grow closer to taking on top-15 opponents.

The fact that Paddy Pimblett has recently lost weight makes him appear much different in his before and after photos. To this day, Pimblett is a self-described gourmand who made headlines early in his career for his dramatic weight loss. Previously, he appeared to be a little overweight.

According to the Daily Star, the 27-year-old is well on his way to making the necessary alterations to meet the 155lb weight restriction. When Paddy was pictured with Molly McCann less than a month before his next fight, he was noticeably leaner.

Career

The 17-year-old Pimblett made his professional debut in 2012, going 3–0 on the way to signing with Cage Warriors a year later.

A year later, he won and then lost the Cage Warriors featherweight title, forcing him to switch weight classes. After a victory, he made a run at the Cage Warriors lightweight title but was defeated by a unanimous vote. He secured a contract with Ultimate Fighting Championship following two more victories in the organization.’

A year after making his professional debut in 2012, Pimblett turned 18 and joined Cage Warriors. When he fought Johnny Frachey in Liverpool, he became Cage Warriors featherweight champion in 2016. A controversial unanimous verdict gave him the victory over Julian Erosa.

A month after his maiden victory in the division, he unsuccessfully fought for the Cage Warriors Lightweight title. Later, Pimblett won both of his fights for Cage Warriors before signing on with the UFCSigning with the UFC (UFC). Previously, Pimblett had turned down two UFC contracts in favor of Cage Warriors offers that were more lucrative.

UFC Championship

At UFC Fight Night 191 on September 4, 2021, he made his promotional MMA debut by defeating Luigi Vendramini. In the first round, Pimblett was knocked out and won the fight. He was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus for this fight. A $1,000,000 sponsorship contract with Barstool Sports was inked by Pimblett in October of 2021. On March 19, 2022, at UFC Fight Night 204, Pimblett went off against Rodrigo Vargas.

In the first round, he was able to win through submission. That’s two Performance of the Night awards in a row for him! For his performance and winnings, Paddy would say he earned a total of $24,000.
