American TV personality, actress, presenter, businesswoman, author, and fashion designer Linnethia Monique “NeNe” Leakes ( born December 13, 1967).
She was born in New York City and grew up in Athens, Georgia, and is now famous for her roles as Roz Washington on the Fox comedy-drama series Glee and as a cast member on the reality show The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
While The New Normal was airing on NBC, Leakes played series regular Rocky Rhoades until the show was canceled in 2013. Both The Celebrity Apprentice (NBC) and Dancing with the Stars (ABC) featured her as a contestant. Madame in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella was Leakes’ Broadway debut, and she went on to star as Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago the following year.
When ABC brought back its ’50s game show, To Tell the Truth, she was a regular member of the panel. When Leakes wasn’t working on TV, she was promoting her clothing line on Home Shopping Network and opening SWAGG boutiques in major cities.

Leakes denied in a video announcing the news that she had any plastic surgery done besides a nose job and breast implants, but she did say that she wanted to fix “problem areas” after teaming up with Dr. Okoro for his “Perfectly Pretty You” journey.
After consulting with Dr. Okoro, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star changed her mind about only wanting 360 liposuctions and instead had the fat removed from her stomach, back, and sides inserted into her butt.

Leakes Has Been Very Forthright About Her Experience with Cosmetic Surgery
In 2016, she admitted she had plastic surgery again, this time to correct a medical condition.

Leakes has made appearances on shows like The Price Is Right and Betty White’s Off Their Rockers as a guest host. Her participation in the 18th season of “Dancing with the Stars” was revealed on March 4, 2014. She danced with the pro-Tony Dovolani.
On April 28, 2014 (Week 7: Latin Night), Leakes and Dovolani were the lowest-scoring duos to be eliminated from the competition.
For the Las Vegas residency of Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity, Leakes portrayed the Mistress of Sensuality.
She first appeared on Broadway in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella on November 25, 2014, in the role of Madame. She stayed in the role until the show’s January 3rd, 2015 closing. She played Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago for four weeks in November of 2015. This April 2020, Leakes dropped a track titled “Come and Get This Hunni.”
