American actress, dancer, talk show host, and TV producer Kelly Maria Ripa (/rp/; born October 2, 1970) was born on the East Coast.
Most people may recognize Ripa from her performances as Hayley Vaughan on the ABC daytime serial opera All My Children (1990-2002, 2010) and as Faith Fairfield on the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith (1993-1996). (2003–2006). Ripa has been a co-host on Live! with Kelly and Ryan since the show’s inception in 2001.
Milojo Productions is Ripa and Mark Consuelos’s New York-based production firm. Among the media industry’s elite, she was recognized as such by The Hollywood Reporter in 2014.

Kelly Ripa had Plastic Surgery
Kelly Ripa revealed that she underwent plastic surgery on her earlobes in a video broadcast to the “Live With Kelly and Ryan” Instagram page. While flaunting her many piercings, she admitted that she had once used a needle and an apple to do it herself.
Her earlobes broke from the weight of the earrings she’d been wearing for so long. Ripa called attention to the readings on her lobes and added, “I lost both of my ears here. So, I made an appointment with a plastic surgeon. My earlobes seem pretty dissimilar today.”
Ripa pointed out that the plastic surgeon had to sew together her ripped earlobes, and when the cameras panned in for a close-up, she explained that this meant she was missing a small portion of her earlobe. She pointed to her well-healed left ear and declared, “I have two separate earlobes.” Ripa has joked about getting more nips and tucks done on other body parts, but that was the extent of her plastic surgery at the time.
Botox
In 2016, Kelly said she regretted getting Botox the year before because of her bad experience. About a year ago, I said, “I received horrible Botox. It was horrible. Something about it turned my good side into two negative ones. I’m not joking around.
“I’m starting to look like myself again, but there was a period of time there where people were like, ‘What’s wrong with Kelly?’” She used to be cheerful but now she never laughs or even smiles. Lack of Botox in an Acute Form
In 2020, Kelly took her Instagram followers along with her to the dermatologist’s office to see as she had Botox injections. As a co-host of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade from 2001-2009, Ripa was awarded the Emmy for Outstanding Special Class Special in 2006. Live! with Regis and Kelly earned her and co-host Regis Philbin a total of 12 Emmy Award nominations, as well as four People’s Choice Award nominations.
Both Kelly and Philbin were named Daytime Emmy Award winners for Outstanding Talk Show Host twice. In 2015 and 2016, she and co-host Michael Strahan received the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host for their work on Live! with Kelly and Michael.
On November 19, 2010, the Broadcast Pioneers recognized Ripa in their Hall of Fame and named her Person of the Year for her many achievements in the broadcast industry.
Hollywood’s business community presented Kelly Ripa with a star on the Walk of Fame on October 12, 2015.
