A Canadian reality television personality, builder, illusionist, and producer of television and movies, Jonathan Silver Scott was born on April 28, 1978.
Career
He is best known for being the co-host, alongside his twin brother Drew, of the HGTV-broadcast television series Property Brothers and its offshoots, including Buying and Selling, Brother Vs. Brother, Forever Homes, and Property Brothers: At Home.
Jonathan Scott is also the co-founder and executive producer of Scott Brothers Entertainment, a company that makes TV, movies, and digital content for broadcasters in the United States and abroad. The brothers have also published a memoir, children’s books about construction, and a how-to book for home remodeling. They launched a brand-related magazine named Reveal in 2020.
In keeping with their brand, the twins established the home furnishings company Scott Living and its offshoot Dream Homes, a consulting and construction business for upscale home improvements. Since he was a young child, Jonathan has studied performance magic.
From the time he was in college until the start of his television career, he worked as a professional illusionist before relocating to Las Vegas. Under the name The Scott Brothers, he and Drew have released two country singles. He resides in a residence that he and Drew share in Las Vegas, Nevada (who himself lives elsewhere).
