Born on November 2, 1991, James Richard Garoppolo goes by the moniker “Jimmy G” on the field with the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers (NFL). At Eastern Illinois University, where he played football, he became the school’s all-time leader in throwing yards and passing touchdowns and was named the Walter Payton Award winner as a senior.
After being picked by the Patriots in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Garoppolo spent his first four seasons in the league as Tom Brady’s backup.
Once Garoppolo was traded to the 49ers late in the 2017 season, the team went from 1-10 to 5-3. He led the 49ers to the NFC championship game and the best record in the league in 2019.
With his leadership, the 2021 San Francisco 49ers made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game. It doesn’t help that injuries have plagued his time in San Francisco, as he will miss most of the 2018 and 2020 seasons. After starting the 2022 season as the team’s backup to Trey Lance, he was promoted to the starting role after Lance was injured in week 2.

Jimmy Garoppolo and Kiara Mia
In the year 2020, Garoppolo was spotted having supper with the adult film star Kiara Mia. Even though they looked to take a vacation together, they never made their relationship public.
After seeing Garoppolo out on a public date with Mia, King removed all of their Instagram images together. Mia’s approximately 15-year age difference from Garoppolo is the biggest shock in their budding romance. Currently, 54,500 people follow Mia on Instagram.
Past Relationship with Alexandra
Garoppolo joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2017 after signing a five-year, $137.5 million contract. Simultaneously, the quarterback’s rumored romance with the stunning model, Alexandra, was the subject of much buzz in the sports media.
Reports surfaced that he had an affair with Alexandra King from multiple sources. But they were already an item far before the news broke.
In February of 2018, the model shared Valentine’s Day photo with Garoppolo, captioning it, “My valentine.” A month later, the couple was sighted again, this time at Disneyland, having a great time together.
They were seen kissing, holding hands, and even on a vacation together, so it seemed reasonable to assume they were in a committed relationship. However, Jimmy emphasized that their bond was strictly platonic in an interview with Bleacher Report.
Jimmy had a hard time keeping his relationship with the Instagram model under wraps. Even more so, Jimmy did not share any pictures of the two of them together on any of his social media pages.
Alexandra and Jimmy Have Broken Up
Garoppolo had a romantic candlelight supper with adult film star Kiara Mia after his breakup with Alexandra King. An instantaneous fissure appeared in Jimmy’s relationship with his ex-girlfriend after his act of treachery.
Since then, Alexandra has deleted every photo of them off her Instagram feed. This later prompted widespread speculation that the pair had split up. When Jimmy was injured in a game, she wrote on her Instagram that “it is karma.”
Jimmy tore his ACL later that same year, ruining his season. Coincidentally, King also posted a piece that used the word “Karma” to indirectly insult him. To that end, it’s possible that her meaning was that the NFL star got what he deserved for cheating on her with another woman. Jimmy might be traumatized by the sight of it.

He broke the school record for career pass completions held by former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo by throwing for 5,050 yards and 53 touchdowns in 2013, and he started every remaining game he played in for Eastern Illinois. In 2011, he passed for 2,644 yards and 20 touchdowns, in 2012 for 3,823 yards and 31, and in 2013, for 5,050 yards and 53.
