In the United States, Jennifer Shrader Lawrence was born on August 15, 1990. Her films have made over $6 billion worldwide to this point, making her the highest-paid actress in the world in 2015 and 2016. She was featured on the 2013 Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world, as well as the 2013–2016 Forbes Celebrity 100 list.
When Lawrence was younger, she frequently acted in school and church productions. When she was fourteen, she and her family were on vacation in New York City, where a talent scout happened upon her. She relocated to Hollywood and started her acting career with little jobs on television.
A prominent cast member on the sitcom The Bill Engvall Show was her first big break (2007–2009). Her first film job was in the supporting cast in Garden Party (2008), and her breakthrough came with the lead role of a poor girl in the indie mystery film Winter’s Bone (2010).
Mystique, a mutant, in the X-Men film series (2011-2019), and Katniss Everdeen, a tribute to Suzanne Collins, have both helped Lawrence’s career along (2012–2015). As a result of the latter, she became the all-time top-earning action heroine.
Jennifer Lawrence Plastic Surgery
Playing Ree Dolly in Winter’s Bone catapulted Jennifer to new levels of prominence. Jennifer, then only 20, was nominated for an Academy Award in 2011 for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
Jennifer is the third youngest star to be honored by the Academy in that category, after Natalie Portman (who won for Black Swan) and Bradley Cooper. Later, in 2013, for the film Silver Linings Playbook, she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Jennifer has matured not only in terms of her talent but also in terms of her appearance and sense of style. As a result, she’s been the subject of numerous rumors that she’s had plastic surgery, most commonly a nose job. The Hunger Games star has been silent on the topic of plastic surgery thus far.
But Jennifer opens up a lot when it comes to discussing her own body. She told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview published in May 2016: “Everybody says [to me], ‘We adore that there is somebody with a regular physique!’

Jennifer Lawrence Had Cosmetic Surgery on Her Nose
Instagram user @truthaboutfaves has done the legwork for us by selecting the best examples to illustrate the supposed transformation of the Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence‘s face through plastic surgery. Moreover, her nose appears to have shrunk and become more delicate in the after photographs, which serve as the primary evidence of change.
As one admirer put it in the comments, “I think she’s had a nose job but not a major one, she still looks like herself.” Another user agreed, saying, “If she’s had any work done it looks very natural and you can still tell it’s the same person before and after which you often can’t with a lot of these posts.”
Someone else agreed that the most noticeable difference was the nose, saying, “Nose but she’s lovely to start with.” There’s no denying that! Another supporter said, “Nose job, that’s it,” accompanied by the heart-eyed emoji. Excellent work on the cosmetic surgery of the nose. Others have commended how “she kept it natural,” and one fan has said, “Her real nose is so much prettier.”
J. Law Ever Had Any Other Kind of Surgical Procedure?
Some of the Don’t Look Up actress’s followers have speculated that she has had other procedures done over the years, including eyelid surgery to alter the appearance of her hooded eyes and injectables like Botox and fillers to enhance her lips and cheeks.
Many people, however, are under the impression that she has not had any work done and attribute her appearance solely to her advancing years. As one fan put it, “Naturally done upper bleph,” followed by a clapping hands emoji, which we believe was meant for the surgeon who allegedly performed the upper blepharoplasty.
“I’m going to advise rhinoplasty without the blepharoplasty; instead, I’d recommend strategically placed injections of Botox into the forehead and temples; the eyes are still somewhat hooded, though.”
“Hooded eyes removal,” another fan said, “rhinoplasty,” and “undereye fillers” were also mentioned. One more participant in the conversation chimed in, “Excellent effort, all around. Not too much,” while someone else simply thought it was down to weight loss and the aging process, writing, “I don’t think she’s had anything. It’s very different now that she’s dropped weight and matured.”
