Netflix’s teen drama series Heartstopper has hit the streaming service and has become a hit with people all over the world.
Based on Alice Oseman’s comic and graphic novel, the show follows high schoolers Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor), who become friends and then fall in love. It also looks into the lives of Charlie and Nick’s friends: Tao, Elle, and Isaac.
This series has been a big hit with both reviewers and fans. There are heartwarming scenes, a great soundtrack, and Olivia Colman as Nick’s mom (read our Heartstopper review here).
But are there any more episodes of the Netflix show coming out soon? Heartstopper could have a second season. Here is everything you need to know about it!
What Heartstopper Season 2 would be about?
Charlie and Nick’s relationship has a lot of problems and heartwarming moments that we need to see in the second season of Heartstopper. Also, we need to see how Sarah supports her son after he came out to her as a bisexual.
There are bound to be problems, but we’ll have to wait and see. Ben is most likely to cause them.
As we talked about before, there is a lot of material from the Heartstopper source works that can be used in the second run.
Alice Oseman, a writer, said: “Some things in a comic don’t work well on TV. Heartstopper, the comic book, is a very low-stakes story, just like the comic book itself.
“There aren’t many problems in this show, which isn’t how TV usually works. So we had to add some drama, or angst, to it.
“Besides, we also made the world of Heartstopper bigger as well. People who aren’t main characters in the comics get a lot more attention than they would in the comics. The fun didn’t stop there.”
So, you can expect to see more of the world of Heartstopper.

Heartstopper’s Release date
It is expected that the second season of Hearttooper’s release date would be Friday 28 April 2023.
The first season was filmed between April 2021 and June 2021, which means it only took three months to make. It was released in April 2022. This means that if they started filming this summer, we’d likely see it on TV in June 2023 at the earliest if they did.

As there hasn’t been an official order to make the second season of Heartstopper, there isn’t even a trailer for the new episodes to show.
