I know I seem different to others, but to me, I’m just starting to look like myself again. Because I’m simply like, there I am, it’s hard to describe. And thanks to God. Here I am, in this very place. That’s why the greatest satisfaction is simply being able to feel present, in the literal sense of the phrase. I’d like the opportunity “to go out in a group of new people where I didn’t feel this constant feeling to flee from my body, this never-ending sensation of fear and nervousness and wanting out,” he said. With every fibre of my being, I mean it when I say I never envisioned myself feeling that way.”

When I was in my early to mid-twenties, I had no idea how to tell others how sick I felt. My inner critic would be screaming at me if I did it again. As if all my wishes had come true, I was living the life of my fantasies. The only time I was unable to stay in a hotel while filming Inception was because of this rule.
