Dane Jeffrey Cook is an American comedian and actor. He was born on March 18, 1972, in New York City. He has released six albums of comedy: Harmful If Swallowed; Retaliation; Vicious Circle; Rough Around the Edges: Live from Madison Square Garden; and Isolated Incident.
Career
After reaching number one on the charts for the first time in 28 years, Retaliation was certified platinum in 2006. Vicious Circle, his HBO special from late 2006, Rough Around The Edges, his direct-to-DVD special from 2009, and Isolated Incident, his Comedy Central special from 2009, are all examples of his stand-up work. This comedian’s style is described as “observational,” “often vulgar,” and “occasionally dark.”
In 2006, he was described as “alarmingly popular” for being one of the first comedians to use a personal webpage and MySpace to build a large following. Since 1997, Cook has worked as an actor in a variety of films, including Mystery Men, Waiting…, Employee of the Month, Good Luck Chuck, Dan in Real Life, Mr. Brooks, and My Best Friend’s Girl. In 2013, he played the lead role in the animated family film Planes, and in 2014, he returned to voice the character in Planes: Fire & Rescue. Andrew Dice Clay was the first and only other comedian to sell out the massive arena at Madison Square Garden.

Dane Cook’s Girlfriend
After five years of dating, Dane Cook and Kelsi Taylor have announced their engagement. ‘Fiancé has a nice ring to it,’ the Pilates instructor, 23, wrote alongside a picture of the comedian, 50, proposing on Instagram on Tuesday, August 2.
“It’s official! We’ve been exposed! Both @danecook and I are now engaged! Dane proposed to me a few weeks ago and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect time. Because of how much I love him, I am happy to spend the rest of my life with him. There is so much to look forward to.”
Chris Pratt’s Good Luck Chuck co-star also seemed to acknowledge the engagement by tweeting on Tuesday, “Finally engaged.”
Dane Cook and Kelsi Taylor’s Relationship
In 2017, the couple from Massachusetts began dating. During a game night at Cook’s house the following year, the two men struck up a conversation. They had been friends for a while, but the Mystery Men star revealed during an Instagram Q&A in August 2018 that the two had “fallen in love” and “upgraded to love.”
“The only thing you have to plan,” Cook joked when asked for advice on dating someone with a significant age gap.
This couple’s 26-year age difference was also brought up during a February 2018 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! by a stand-up comedian. Cook noticed an audible response from the show’s audience after mentioning his and Taylor’s ages. “I appreciate the snickers of approval,” he said with a grin. Kelsi Taylor
Kelsi Taylor, a Nevada native born on October 26, 1998, currently resides in Los Angeles, California. In 1972, Dane Cook, a native of Massachusetts, was born, making him 26 years her junior. Taylor is the middle child in a family of three. A decade separates her from her younger sibling, while her older sibling is 13 years older than her younger sibling. Her relationship with them hasn’t changed; they’re still close.
After deciding at the age of 12 that she wanted to pursue a career in music, Taylor moved from Nevada to California. She enrolled in college after graduating from high school at the age of 16. In the end, she decided to forgo college and focus on her music career. In the end, Taylor was able to record her debut EP, Fear of Yourself, which was released in 2018. A few times a year, she uploads a cover of a song to her channel on YouTube.
