Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao is an American singer and composer of Cuban descent (/kmil kbeo/; American Spanish: [kamila kaeo]; born March 3, 1997).
As a member of the successful girl group Fifth Harmony, she gained widespread attention and recognition.
Career
During her time in Fifth Harmony, Cabello released the singles “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Shawn Mendes and “Bad Things” with Machine Gun Kelly, the latter of which peaked at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. She bowed out of the collective toward the end of 2016.
Camila, her first studio album, debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. The RIAA certified the Latin-influenced pop album as Platinum due to its widespread acclaim. Its lead single “Havana” topped the charts in the United States and the United Kingdom, and its follow-up “Never Be the Same” also charted highly in those two countries and others.
In 2019, Cabello’s “Seorita” duet with Mendes won her second number one single on the Billboard Hot 100. Romance (2019), her second studio album, debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, with the first single “My Oh My” reaching #12 on the Hot 100 and the Top Ten in several countries.

Are Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes Dating
Although Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes’ love relationship has ended, they are still caring parents to their dog, Tarzan. TMZ claims to have photographic evidence that the exes took their golden dog on a stroll in Miami on January 6. The two have not been spotted together in public since they made their breakup official last November, so this is a big deal.
“Our love for one another is stronger than ever,” the musical duo said in a joint statement after their breakup. We’re best friends to this day since that’s how we started out.
After dating for over two years, Camila and Shawn took their love to the next level by adopting Tarzan in November 2020.

Shawn Says in The Video
“I just wanted to do a small video to say thank you to everybody who has been connecting with ‘It’ll Be Okay’ and sharing videos.” To paraphrase, “I’m having a little bit of a hard time with social media right now and just kind of my relationship to it. But many individuals are sending me the footage and filling me in on what’s happening.
“When I produce music, the ultimate goal is to be sitting there and having my own truth revealed to me,” he elaborated. “And a lot of the time when I’m composing songs, I’m usually using music as a platform to be able to get to a point inside of myself that I wouldn’t be able just by just chatting with people or thinking about it,” he says.
All of these photos and videos were taken on Instagram and imported. You could find the same material in a different format, or even more material, on their website.
It’s likely that Shawn and Camila are still on good terms and are merely sharing the responsibility of caring for their pet. Neither of the singers has addressed the status of their relationship since their Tarzan walk.

Shawn Mende
Canadian singer and songwriter Shawn Peter Raul Mendes (/mndz/; born August 8, 1998) uses an anglicized form of his given name. In 2013, he became well-known after posting Vine videos of himself performing cover songs. Artist manager Andrew Gertler and Island Records A&R Ziggy Chareton heard his music the next year, leading to a record deal with the label.
Two years after the release of his self-titled debut EP, Mendes released his first full-length studio album, Handwritten, in 2015.
With the success of Handwritten on the US Billboard 200, Mendes became one of just five artists in history to achieve this feat before reaching the age of 18. With “Stitches,” the band had a No. 1 hit in the United Kingdom and a Top 10 hit in the United States and Canada.
Singles “Treat You Better” and “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” from his 2016 album Illuminate peaked in the top 10 in many countries, while the album debuted at number one in the US.
