Is it appropriate to discuss probable launch dates now that we know that production on SEAL Team season 6 is underway?
The first thing to understand is that the David Boreanaz series does not have to premiere on Paramount+ at any certain moment. This isn’t like network television, which requires you to begin broadcasting in September or October to be in their “fall season.”
With that said, Season 6’s start date allows it to air in September or October without issue. This affords the crew three to four months to complete a large number of these stories before releasing them. Another possibility is to postpone the premiere until November when you won’t have to compete with a slew of other films.
We know SEAL Team has a lot more flexibility now that it’s a streaming show. They have fewer episodes, but they also have fewer constraints on what they can show. We believe this will be the case for Season 6 even more than it has been in the past, now that they have a full batch of episodes that are only available on the service. Season 5 was a weird mix aimed to persuade people to migrate over, as you may recall.
Is there going to be the sixth season of SEAL Team?
Season 6 is, in fact, set to air. On the 1st of February, it was confirmed by Paramount+.
When will Season 6 of SEAL Team premiere?
We have no idea. We also have no idea when the film will be released or which will be released first.
Unless the entire thing is a side storyline or flashback, rather than a linear continuation, whatever film comes out first will clear up any misunderstanding about how the plot will unfold.
The only evidence of activity came from David Boreanaz’s Instagram post on August 19, 2022, in which he stated that he will be returning to the SEAL Team studio – which has since been deleted.
