The winning numbers, drawn on January 2, 2024, were 3, 18, 27, 29, 64, and a Mega Millions number of 1. Purchased from a Colony News & Lotto store in Milford, the ticket matched five numbers, and the Megaplier feature doubled the prize.

The $2 million Mega Millions jackpot, which remains unclaimed, is set to expire on June 30, 2024. To collect the prize, the winner needs to schedule a visit to Connecticut Lottery Headquarters on a weekday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Two forms of identification are necessary, with one being a photo ID. It is advisable to promptly claim prizes, as other countries also have impending deadlines for unclaimed incentives.

Lottery players in Southeast Kansas, Jacksonville (Florida), Michigan, and Iowa face impending expiration dates for unclaimed prizes. A $1 million ticket sold in Southeast Kansas expires on January 10, 2024, and the winner is urged to claim the prize promptly. Additionally, a $36 million prize from a Publix store in Jacksonville, Florida, and a $1 million prize from a CVS in Michigan have impending expiration dates. A more modest prize of $10,000 from Iowa will expire on January 24, 2024.
