Someone in B.C. is the newest multi-millionaire in the province. The successful combinations were 2, 3, 6, 7, 17, and 27. A 6/49 classic jackpot has a one in 13,983,816 chance of being won.
The lucky ticket values of $2.5 million
According to the B.C. Lottery Corporation, the ticket was bought online through PlayNow.com. The $5 million classic jackpot was divided with a winning ticket in Ontario, giving the lucky ticket a value of $2.5 million.
Global News reported that all six winning numbers were on a Lotto 6/49 ticket that was purchased online for the draw on Wednesday night.
In order to claim their prize, lottery winners have 52 weeks from the draw date listed on their ticket.
Several British Columbians have been traveling this summer. Massive lottery wins have been made by locals.

In the Lotto Max draw on August 8 Kenneth Ramos of Surrey won $500,000, and Beverley Magill of Armstrong won the same amount on July 25.
Additionally, Montana Lowley and Jason Campeau of Vernon each won $100,000, and Donald MacEwan of Fort St. John won $500,000 with a scratch-and-win ticket he purchased from a convenience store.
Additionally, Vancouver resident Diana Braathen won $1 million in the Lotto Max draw on July 25.
The BCLC also notes that a winning lottery ticket purchased in Maple Ridge is about to expire. The $1 million Lotto 6/49 ticket has a September 28 expiration date, reports Info News.
