Trump Defamation Lawsuit Against CNN Dismissed in Federal Court Following “Big Lie” in References

The $475 million Trump defamation lawsuit filed against CNN after they used the “big lie” in references and associated former president Donald Trump with Adolf Hitler was dismissed in the federal court as the judge believed that the comments provided by CNN were not enough to be considered defamation just like what Trump defamation lawsuit stated.

Under the Trump defamation lawsuit, the former president claimed that CNN formulated a false association between him and Adolf Hitler only to prove a point that his 2020 presidential election fraud claims were not true, leading to the Trump defamation lawsuit because the comments caused false impressions against him.

However, the federal court dismissed the Trump defamation lawsuit as they believed that the references and the association between Trump and Hitler were only opinions and not stated as facts during the on-air discussions, which was not enough evidence for the Trump defamation lawsuit against CNN to proceed, Celeb reported.
