Career
When he was just six years old, he got his start in the acting business in a Culver City after-school programme. Twenty of his performances have been with Liza Monjauze Productions since 2008. An appearance by him and his mother on the CBS series Ghost Whisperer in 2009 included three lines.
Manheim won the 2017 New York Musical Theatre Festival‘s “Outstanding Performance by a Leading Role” award for his role in “Generation Me.” The Disney Channel original film Zombies premiered on February 16, 2018, with him playing the lead role.
Dancing with the Stars 27th season cast member Manheim was announced on September 11th, 2018. He was paired with Witney Carson, a professional dancer, for the show. Bobby Bones, a well-known radio host, beat out Manheim and Carson for second place on November 19, 2018. The start of work on Zombies 2 was announced on February 11th, 2019. Manheim resumed his role as Zed in Zombies 2, which premiered on February 14, 2020.
