Seattle, WA – Patchy fog is expected to roll into Seattle late tonight, potentially impacting visibility on I-5 and other major roadways. The National Weather Service forecasts a calm and mostly sunny weekend, but early commuters may need to exercise caution.
According to the latest report from Boeing Field, patchy fog will likely develop between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Sunday, with clearing expected shortly after sunrise. Sunday’s high will reach 44°F, offering pleasant conditions for outdoor activities once the fog dissipates. Drivers should stay alert for reduced visibility during early morning hours and allow extra time if traveling.
Sunday night will be partly cloudy with lows dipping to 34°F, followed by similar conditions on Monday. Highs on Monday will climb to 43°F under mostly sunny skies, continuing the mild trend.
By midweek, changes in the weather pattern may bring snow to the Seattle area. A slight chance of snow showers is predicted late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. While accumulation is currently uncertain, residents should monitor forecasts closely and prepare for potential winter conditions.
Looking further ahead, Thursday and Friday are expected to see a mix of rain and snow with highs in the low 40s. Travelers should remain updated on road conditions, particularly along higher-elevation routes, where snow accumulation is more likely.
Stay weather-aware by checking daily updates and prepare for midweek snowfall by stocking winter essentials.
