San Angelo, TX – Chilly mornings and sunny afternoons will dominate the weather pattern this week in San Angelo. A cold front is expected to bring temperatures down Monday, with lows dropping to the upper 20s and highs barely reaching the upper 40s.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday night will remain cold with clear skies, setting the stage for frost in some areas. Winds will stay light, offering some relief for residents braving the chill. The warming trend begins Tuesday as daytime highs climb into the low 50s, accompanied by mostly sunny skies.

By Wednesday, San Angelo will see a further temperature rebound, with highs nearing 56°F and calm winds turning slightly southerly. The warming continues Thursday, when temperatures could reach the low 60s, providing a break from the cold snap earlier in the week.

Local residents are encouraged to dress in layers for the chilly starts to their days and use caution while driving during frosty conditions Monday and Tuesday mornings. Be sure to protect outdoor pets and plants from freezing temperatures during overnight hours.

The upcoming weekend promises even warmer weather, with highs expected to approach 60°F on Saturday under sunny skies. Drivers on U.S. Highway 87 and nearby roadways should prepare for clear, dry conditions all week.
