According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Morristown, snowfall accumulations between 2 and 4 inches are anticipated in most areas, with up to 6 inches in higher elevations. A mixture of sleet and freezing rain may develop south of I-40, extending to the Appalachian foothills. The Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Friday at 10 a.m. through Saturday at 7 a.m.
