Ukrainian President Zelensky expressed his willingness to engage with Trump on this matter, stating, “Former President Trump said that [within] 24 hours he can manage it and finish the war, for me… he’s very welcome first of all… So I invite President Trump if he can come here, I will need 24 minutes… not more, to explain to President Trump that he can’t manage this war.”
Ukrainian President Zelensky emphasized that achieving peace in the region depends on Trump’s willingness to confront Russian President Putin and not concede Ukrainian territory. He further stressed the importance of continued U.S. assistance and underscored that the upcoming year will be pivotal in countering Russian aggression.
