This revelation follows North Korea Kim Jong Un’s visit to Russia last month, during which he held discussions with President Vladimir Putin and inspected crucial military installations

According to John Kirby, spokesperson for the White House National Security Council, it is believed that North Korea Kim Jong Un’s primary aim is to obtain advanced Russian weaponry technology in exchange for these provisions, thereby bolstering North Korea’s nuclear capabilities.

The White House has presented visual evidence illustrating the loading of these shipments onto a Russian-flagged vessel, subsequently transported by train to southwestern Russia. This movement occurred between September 7 and October 1, covering the route from Najin, North Korea, to Dunay, Russia.

This isn’t the first time the U.S. has accused North Korea Kim Jong Un of supplying ammunition, artillery shells, and rockets to Russia

Following his meeting with Putin, North Korea Kim Jong Un emphasized the need for a substantial increase in nuclear weapons production and urged his nation to take a more prominent role in a coalition of countries opposing the United States in what he termed a “new Cold War,” as reported by North Korean state media. This directive was incorporated into the country’s constitution during a two-day session of the parliament.

North Korea Kim Jong Un’s extensive visit to Russia, marking his lengthiest foreign trip as a leader, further solidified the “comradely fellowship and friendly ties” between him and Putin, according to North Korean state media. Although discussions regarding enhanced defense cooperation took place, specific measures were not disclosed. International experts posit that both nations, engaged in confrontations with the Western world, may be pursuing arms transfer agreements, potentially contravening U.N. Security Council resolutions.
