Previously, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. had hesitated to supply ATACMS to Ukraine, fearing an escalation of the conflict and the potential depletion of its own reserves.
However, reassurances about the availability of these munitions led to a change in stance. Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. has been incrementally increasing military support to Ukraine, balancing the imperative of aiding Ukraine with the need to maintain adequate stockpiles.
