Operation United Front Arrests 477 Drug Trafficking Suspects

Through Operation United Front, Brevard County law enforcement officials collaborated with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), the Florida State Police, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to reduce the high number of drug trafficking cases in Central Florida.

Since Operation United Front in Florida started, officials have arrested 477 drug trafficking suspects and reportedly recovered different drugs, including 17 pounds of fentanyl, 2,400 pills, 289 pounds of marijuana, and 55 pounds of cocaine, which could kill four million people, Daily Caller reported.

Operation United Front had been strengthened after the county had high rates of drug overdose cases in Florida. The officials will charge drug trafficking suspects with first-degree murder if they are found guilty of causing drug overdose deaths.
