Miami police launch manhunt for woman accused of drugging and robbing date of $600,000 in jewelry

The Miami Police Department has released surveillance footage of the suspect and is seeking assistance from the public in identifying her. According to a news release issued by the Miami Police Department, the victim encountered the woman at a nightclub on the night of May 7. Subsequently, he invited her back to his residence around 5:30 a.m. the following morning.

The man, who remains anonymous, reported that he shared a drink with the woman at his apartment and subsequently fell asleep. When he woke up at approximately noon, he discovered that his safe had been opened and all of the valuable jewelry stored inside had vanished. Furthermore, the woman had vanished as well.

The victim contacted law enforcement to report the incident

Among the stolen items were a Rolex Daytona rainbow watch adorned with diamonds, a Sky-Dweller Rolex, a gold chain, Franco gold bracelets, Cartier sunglasses, and a rose gold diamond ring.

Surveillance footage captured from the apartment building exhibits the woman accompanying the man in an elevator upon arrival and subsequently departing the premises alone. Notably, as she exits the building, she can be seen holding two Solo cups. Investigators suspect that one of the cups may have contained the substance used to drug the unsuspecting victim. Officer Michael Vega, the spokesperson for the Miami Police Department, explained, “She’s taking the Solo cup that she drank because it has her DNA. She’s taking his Solo cup because it has not only his DNA, but it also has whatever drugs she put in.”

Authorities estimate that the suspect is approximately in her mid-30s, standing between 5’08” to 5’10” tall, and weighing approximately 140 pounds. Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is urged to contact the Miami Police Department.
