With a judge’s decision preventing Biden from demolishing the state’s border fence, Texas wins big

A remarkable temporary restraining order was issued on Monday by a federal judge, prohibiting the Biden administration from demolishing or altering the temporary concertina wire wall that Texas had put up to guard its border with Mexico.

Chief U.S. District Judge Alia Moses of Del Rio determined that Texas could expect grave consequences if federal officials were permitted to continue tearing down the fence and that the state had a good chance of winning its action.

Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of homeland security, received a sharp punishment from the ruling, which also favored states attempting to impose border security without federal assistance.

According to federal data, President Joe Biden’s policies have resulted in the unauthorized entry of over 10 million immigrants into the country.
