The bodies were later found in a cornfield in Wisconsin. Judge JaPaul Harris delivered the consecutive sentences on Monday, stating that Suggs was responsible for the killings of Jasmine Sturm, 30; Matthew Pettus, 26; Loyace Foreman III, 35; and Nitosha Flug-Presley, 30. While Sturm, Pettus, and Foreman hailed from St. Paul, Minnesota, Flug-Presley was from Stillwater, Minnesota.

In April, Suggs was found guilty of four counts of second-degree murder for the deaths that occurred in September 2021. During the trial, Suggs claimed self-defense, arguing that he shot the victims because he believed they were planning to rob him. However, prosecutors argued that Suggs’ motive remained unclear and asserted that he intended to kill the victims following a night of drinking in St. Paul.

Darren McWright, also known as Darren Osborne, Suggs’ father, received a five-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to aiding his son in concealing the bodies in the Wisconsin cornfield, located approximately 65 miles east of St. Paul.

During the sentencing, Suggs maintained his innocence, proclaiming that he had been wrongfully convicted

Judge Harris responded by noting Suggs’ lack of remorse or sympathy and accused him of deflecting blame onto others. The case involving Antoine Suggs has drawn significant attention due to the heinous nature of the crime and the subsequent trial. With the sentencing now complete, the families of the victims hope to find closure and move forward from this tragic event.
