Winter Weather Advisory Issued for the Kansas City Area

Tuesday is expected to bring further snowfall in Kansas City, Missouri, as snowflakes continue to dance across the sky.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service, and it will be in force from Tuesday at 3 p.m. to Wednesday at 6 a.m.

Several counties are included in the advisory: Nodaway, Worth, Gentry, Holt, Andrew, De Kalb, Buchanan, Clinton, Platte, Clay, and Jackson in Missouri; and Atchison, Doniphan, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, and Johnson in Kansas.

Tuesday morning brought temperatures in the thirty-degree range with wind chills in the twenty-degree level and snowflakes for the Kansas City region. Kansas City is finally having a real winter.
