Wildfire Burned 100 Acres In Orange Cove, Firefighters Extinguished The Fire

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — On Thursday, crews halted a wildfire in Orange Cove from spreading further.

The fire broke out around 5 p.m. near American Avenue and Hills Valley Road.

Firefighters are still attempting to put out the remaining flames in the limited area.

The fire has burnt an estimated 100 acres and is just 40% contained.

At this moment, no evacuation alerts or orders have been issued.

The fire’s origin is still being investigated.
