The incident took place at Sages Restaurant on NE 83rd Street in Redmond, Washington.
A man from Washington state voluntarily surrendered himself to the authorities after a firearm he was lawfully carrying accidentally went off inside a restaurant, causing injuries to two individuals
The Redmond police swiftly responded to a report of a shooting shortly before 8 p.m. on Friday. According to the authorities, a male customer entered the establishment while carrying a firearm. Unexpectedly, the gun discharged, hitting the floor and causing a bullet to ricochet. One customer was struck in the elbow by the bullet, while another individual was injured by shrapnel. Both victims, fortunately, sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. They were promptly transported to local hospitals for medical treatment.

However, he later turned himself in, along with the firearm, at the Redmond police station. The individual was taken into custody without any complications and subsequently booked into Score Jail. He is now facing a charge of reckless endangerment. The investigators have determined that the firearm discharged accidentally, and there is no apparent connection between the suspect and the two victims.
