The Wagner group founder and commander were accused of murdering several people after a surviving victim claimed he played dead during a shooting in Libya.
Wagner Group Founder and Commander Accused of Murdering People After Illegally Detaining Them
Wagner group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin and commander Khalifa Haftar were accused of murdering several members of a family after illegally detaining them, with only one family member, Mohammed Aboujaylah Ali Anbees, surviving the brutal murder at the hands of the Wagner group founder and other Wagner mercenaries.
According to a report published in Libya Tribune, the surviving victim claimed that the Wagner group founder and commander had stopped them when they were on their way home and were illegally detained by the Wagner mercenaries, wherein the Wagner group founder’s forces eventually shot the surviving victim and his family.
During the investigation, the surviving victim claimed that he only survived the forces working under the Wagner group founder because he played dead on the bloody ground until he heard the Wagner group drive away from the crime scene, leaving him and his family’s lifeless bodies, which led to his decision to file a lawsuit against the Wagner group founder and the commander.
Surviving Victim of Wagner Group Killing Files Lawsuit Against Wagner Group Founder and Commander
Following the tragic incident, the surviving victim filed a lawsuit against the Wagner group founder and his forces for torturing and brutally murdering his family, The Washington Post reported.
The Wagner commander had faced many lawsuits before, while it was reportedly the first time that the Wagner group founder was involved and sued, especially with the Wagner killing allegations.
