Virginia Mother Arrested After Her 6-Year-Old Son Injures Teacher in Front of Class in Shooting Incident

A Virginia mother arrested named Deja Taylor was accused of child neglect after her 6-year-old son injured his first-grade teacher Abby Zwerner in front of her class as the Virginia mother arrested failed to take care of her child and prevent the tragic incident from happening.

According to a report published in CBS News, the Virginia mother arrested left her handgun inside their house, where her son got it and used it to shoot his teacher in her chest and hand, which led her to endure several surgeries and spend almost two weeks in the hospital after the tragic fate at the hands of the son of the Virginia mother arrested.

Virginia Mother Arrested Receives Two-Year Sentence in Prison for Child Neglect After 6-Year-Old Son Shots His Teacher

Following the tragic incident, the Virginia mother arrested was believed to have been suffering from mental health illnesses following multiple miscarriages, NBC News reported.

The Virginia mother arrested later pleaded guilty to child neglect and received a two-year sentence despite the possibility of getting a five-year sentence after illegally owning a handgun and using marijuana.
