Deja Taylor, a Virginia mom of a 6-year-old student allegedly accused of shooting his school teacher in January, is now facing drug and gun cases.

The Virginia mom lied in the form to purchase a firearm

The Virginia mom lied to buy a firearm in a gun shop in July 2022. The shop was unaware that she was an unlawful user of controlled drugs.

The court documents say that the Virginia mom made a false written statement when filling out a form to purchase a firearm at Winfree Firearms.

The Virginia mom insisted that she was not an unlawful user of marijuana or any other controlled drugs.

The Virginia mom will be facing firearm and drugs charges

The 6-year-old son of the Virginia mom shot his elementary teacher, Abigail Zwerner. The teacher was wounded and brought to the hospital.

The Virginia mom was charged with a felony of reckless storage of a firearm.

On Aug. 15, the Virginia mom will go to court for her case hearing. She wants to reach a plea agreement with prosecutors.
