A Vermont man arrested after allegedly murdering his mother and grandfather to inherit their estates died in jail.
Vermont Man Dies in Jail While Waiting for His Trial After Allegedly Murdering His Mother and Grandfather for Inheritance
A 29-year-old Vermont man named Nathan Carman was found dead inside his jail cell while waiting for his trial after being accused of murdering his mother and grandfather to get millions of inheritances.
According to reports from AP News, the New Hampshire guards found the Vermont man dead inside his jail cell a day after he spoke to his lawyers about their plans on the nearing trial to win the case.
Despite the murder allegations against him, the Vermont man’s family, including his aunts, expressed their sadness after hearing his tragic death without being able to defend himself in court from the accusations against him.

Vermont Man Arrested for Murdering His Mother and Grandfather to Inherit Their Estate Pleads Not Guilty
Before his death, the Vermont man pleaded not guilty to murdering his mother and grandfather to inherit their estate and denied all the allegations against him.
However, authorities revealed evidence that the Vermont man fatally shot his grandfather to get his inheritance and eventually murdered his mother when he needed money to sustain his needs in 2016.
