Depending on a stunning government study this month, the White House pharmacy operated during the Trump administration violated federal standards by giving prescription medications, such as stimulants and sedatives, to employees who weren’t eligible while failing to maintain sufficient records.

“All aspects of the White House Medical Unit’s pharmacy operations” have “serious and systemic problems,” according to the Department of Defense’s Office of the Inspector General.

One witness who was questioned for the DOD’s eighty-page report claimed, “Everything that happened at the White House Clinic wasn’t ever put down, never recorded.” “The only documentation you ever had regarding a patient receiving medication was in cases where it was an illegal drug that we needed to record for the pharmacy.”
