Twelve-year-old faces charges for shooting glass bottles from the Times Square Hotel’s 32nd floor; witnesses believed gunshots had occurred

Two kids reportedly tossed glass bottles from a hotel’s 32nd level, injuring a woman and necessitating a temporary closure of the road close to Times Square.

The New York Post reports that the sound of breaking alcohol bottles scared the neighbors, who thought they were gunshots. The shattered glass in the event caused a brain injury to a 24-year-old lady.

An unidentified police source said that it seems sense that some may have confused the loud sound for gunfire. According to the source, there will undoubtedly be a lot of noise made when anything drops from a height of thirty-two stories to the ground.
